If you’re planning a trip to the Azores, you’ll want to make sure you have reliable transportation to explore all the islands have to offer. Renting a car can be a great option, but it can also be expensive. Here are some tips and tricks to help you find the best deals on Azores rental cars.
The easiest way to visit São Miguel island is by renting a car or booking a tour. There are also buses, but they are less frequent and may not be as convenient for tourists.

Book in advance

One of the easiest ways to save money on Azores rental cars is to book in advance. Many car rental companies offer discounts for customers who book their rental cars early. By booking in advance, you can also ensure that you get the type of car you want, rather than having to settle for whatever is available when you arrive.
